Yüksek Tepeler is an accordion book inspired by the Turkish folk song Yüksek Yüksek Tepelere, traditionally sung during the henna night ceremony. It tells the story of Zeynep, a young bride who confides her longing and homesickness to the birds, hoping to reunite with her family.

Inspired by the traditional Turkish folk song Yüksek Yüksek Tepeler, this accordion book tells the story of Zeynep, a young girl separated too soon from her family and her village. Through the journey of a bird, her message crosses the high hills, carrying her loneliness, her longing to return, and the silence of young brides caught between childhood, tradition, and womanhood.
