1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Conference ‘Joining the 3D animation industry’ by Carlos DE CARVALHO, Director of Education for the 3D animation industry

By appointment to be made online, 30-minute slots, 4 profiles to choose from: ‘2D animation,’ ‘3D animation,’ ‘video games,’ or ‘illustration.’

 

DEMONSTRATION AREA

Game Area

• Video games: discover the teaching methods used in the programme through an exhibition that traces the learning process from Bachelor's to Master's level, then try out our students' creations for yourself.

• Board games: did you think games were only digital? Try out the games created by our students!

 

2D Animation Area

• View the projects on display and chat with our students, who will be giving live demonstrations

• Discover the films made by our students and learn the secrets of the transition from traditional to animated filmmaking

• Try your hand at animated painting and watch demonstrations by our students

 

3D Animation Area

• View the projects on display and chat with our students, who will be giving live demonstrations.

• Be captivated by the narrative images produced by our young filmmakers and the messages conveyed through their work.

 

Illustration Area

• Walk through the scenographic exhibition and appreciate the different techniques used by our students, both traditional and digital.

 

Art Workshop Area

• Academic drawing, sculpture, plastic expression... Discover the work of our Tremplin and Licence 1 students.

 

Mocap Area

• Put on the Motion Capture suit and discover the secrets of a technique that records a human's positions, movements and rotations, allowing a virtual counterpart to be controlled on a computer to obtain a visual representation of these movements in real time via the 3D rendering engine. 

 

GUIDED TOUR

• Screening room, media library, sound studio, university residence, art workshop...
