CréaTalents Award: double distinction!
The jury met at Le Fresnoy - National Studio of Contemporary Arts to select the six finalists for CréaTalents.
Among them, the 2D animation project ‘Une cité de papillons’ (A City of Butterflies) by Issakha – Sikam MBACKE, a student at Piktura, won the Noranim Prize and the Mixed Media Prize.

A mini-series animation project inspired by Film Noir, Opera and the Grands-Ensembles, exploring the theme of injustices linked to national and cultural identity, with an introspective look at the subject of belonging.
In the city of butterflies, an elderly woman living with her magpie in an unsanitary flat resolves to sell her ancestral jewellery to unscrupulous creditors.
