Franco-Belgian Game Jam 2025: A look back at the second edition of this unique experience

After a first edition in 2024 at La Plaine Images (now EuraCreative) in the Lille metropolitan area, it was TRAKK in Namur's turn to welcome our young talents for the 2025 edition, led this year by the Haute École Albert Jacquard.

Our regions have talent

From 24 to 28 March 2025, 45 students from HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen (Kortrijk), Rubika (Valenciennes), Haute École Albert Jacquard (Namur) and Piktura (Lille) will showcase their creativity and expertise in video game design on a topical theme that challenges the regenerative economy.

Cooperation and pushing boundaries

Game Jams are real challenges that require extra creativity within a limited time frame.
It is a setting that encourages exchanges between our talented students from Hauts-de-France, Wallonia and Flanders. The students, mixed together, enrich each other in a professional and supportive environment.

The jury praised the quality and richness of the projects presented.

A collective success and strong bonds

Despite its competitive nature, this event, supported by the Interreg programme, with the support of the French Embassy in Belgium and the Gaming Factory in Namur, is a great networking opportunity for our students and a showcase for the talents that will revolutionise the video game industries of tomorrow.
